Tips for Traveling with Children

Traveling with children can be fun, it doesn’t always have to be stressful, though if they are small it can be sometimes. I know I travel over 4 hours with my small children regularly so I have a couple of tips up my sleeve that I would like to share with you. These are mainly for shorter car journeys.

Driving during the night

- An ideal thing to do when the children are reasonably young, is to try to travel of a night while the children are sleeping. I work it so that I feed them, put them in their pj’s and put them in the car, even if they are awake

A Week in Paradise!

Traveling with children has its up and downs, my parents live about a 4 1/2 hour drive from Sydney, so we are used to the traveling, normally we travel of a night time while the children are sleeping, as it makes the trip just that little bit more bearable.

As we have done the trip many times it is not that exciting for the children any more so they are not missing out on anything. But this time we thought that we would leave the city early and make our way in the day light, so we could get there in time for bedtime or just after.
