Being a Mum is like flying a kite, you never know which way it is going to turn, it can turn really fast and end up crashing. Or it can just float happily and peacefully in one place, or simply sway from side to side

Fingers Crossed
This was an interesting one as I wasn’t really sure what to do, then I thought about it and came up with being hopeful about our camping trip.
It is pouring with rain outside and it is forecast for showers for next week, we are however hopeful that where ever we chose to set up camp it doesn’t rain too much, but just watching the weather forecast on the TV it doesn’t really look that good.
Oh well, it is what you make it. Now for a couple of pictures, sorry but they are not that exciting this week just hopeful.
We are hopeful that these camp beds are going

You Capture for this week is Shapes, what a great topic, you can do soooo much with this one.
It just so happened that I was in the big city of Sydney last weekend and I just so happened to capture this great picture of the famous Sydney Opera house, now that is an interesting shape if ever I saw one. I think because it is such a great shape that it only needs the one picture.
Check out more great shapes at Beth’s I Should be folding laundry
Kisses for Teddy
This week was a great topic, kisses, but I really ran out of time to get some great shots.
But what I did get was pretty good anyway, if I do say so myself. Little Miss loves kisses and she loves to give her little, very well loved teddy big kisses, when she does it you get the great sound of a really great kiss.
This is what I came up with, she really loves this little teddy, he goes to bed with her every night.
Check out some other great kisses at I should be folding laundry.
Work
This weeks You Capture topic is Work, well that is an interesting one for me as I don’t go to work. I am a stay home mum, but I don’t consider looking after the children as work as it is more fun than work.
So I had to think about it a bit this week and this is what I have come up with, well it wasn’t really that difficult.
Ironing, now that is work and it just seems to be never ending. I only just finished and then I turn around and the basket is full up again. arghhhh
Washing up and cleaning the kitchen now that is definitely work.
This is my

This weeks You Capture is Faces. This is an easy one for me as I LOVE taking pictures of faces.
So here are a couple that I took of the Little People, and one that the Little Man took of me, yes a photo of me amazing.
I thought that this was a pretty good photo taken by a 3 and half year old. Well done!
Some fun in the park, there was a crown cut out of the side of the play equipment. I thought that I would see what I could capture through it.
Thanks again to Beth at I

You Capture - Summer (for me)
This weeks you capture is Winter, but that is a little bit difficult for me as it is Summer here in Australia, so I am doing Summer, I hope that is ok.
What a summer it has been here, it has been really hot, so we have spent a lot of time in the pool, our pool, and Nan & Pops pool. The little Mans swimming has improved dramatically, which is fantastic, I am so proud of him.
This Little Man would NOT jump in the pool October last year, we couldn’t get him to put his head in the water, now look at him.
Then to the

You Capture was for Holiday Pictures, but unfortunately that was last weeks, but I wasn’t around so I am doing mine this week. This weeks You Capture was to do a year in review and I think that might be a bit tricky, you will all be bored with all the photos if I did that. I will attempt to do a year in review post next week.
I have done my holiday pictures from our Christmas day, as it was such a great day, and lots of pictures were taken. So here we go.
First we start in the kitchen, which is where most of our Christmas day was spent, in

This Weeks You Capture was to take pictures of your favourite Christmas Decor, being a bit creative, if you have it in you of course.
Well I wasn’t really sure what to do with this one, so I have just taken some shots of a couple of my favourite christmas decorations from in my house.
Firstly is the Advent Calender, I really love it. I know what you are going to say when you see the pictures, “why doesn’t she have anything in her calender. Well here is the thing, I bought some lollies and chocolates to put in each day, which I did, but I noticed that they were not surviving

Lines - From Around the House
I have had a great time with this weeks You Capture which was Lines. I have captured lines that I have found outside and inside our house. So here goes, I hope that you enjoy them as much as I did taking them.
The first two are my favourites, I will get these printed as I think they would look great on the wall.
This is a picture of an metal flower that I have hanging on the wall, great lines.
The little Man behind the pool fence
The roof of the cubby house
Shadows on the play ground, of the deck

This weeks You Capture is to tell a story with pictures of things that make you happy. Well that wasn’t too difficult when I have 2 little people and 1 big person that makes life very happy, some times frustrating but still happy.
Here is what I captured this week.
I love watching my children play, and share things with each other, even if it is a biscuit that they don’t really want to share.
Sharing
Well maybe not
Well Ok then
I love how they can use their imagination and make something from nothing, playing in the sandpit, making all sorts of things for me, cakes, bread,
