Where’s Stripey? - Written by Wendy Binks

I have read this one hundreds of times, I could probably read it with my eyes closed now.

It is an Australian story about an emu, who has 30 chicks but loses one and has to go and find him. It is written with many Australian slang terms and places. Great book.

Bertie and the Bear - Written by Pamela Allen

Need to have your musical and sound voice ready when you are reading this one. Can be quite a noisy book, but lots of fun, getting the little ones to make the sounds with you.

The Bike Lesson - From the Dr Seuss collection but written by Stan and Jan Berenstain.

A great story about a father teaching his son how to ride a bike, with some great lessons on the way. I love how the Dr Seuss books never age, even if they were written years ago they are still relevant today.

Dinosaurs Love Underpants - Written by Claire Freedman & Ben Cort.

What a great title for a book, and this has to be one of the Little Mans Favourites at the moment.

It is the story about how Dinosaurs were wiped out. Good for a laugh for the adults too.

This is the first of many - I can’t really call it a review as it isn’t, it is just a list of our favourite books that we read and like.  To give you ideas and maybe your children will like them also.

Books are great for children, they learn so much from them, and just have fun reading them, and it is great
