Being a Mum is like flying a kite, you never know which way it is going to turn, it can turn really fast and end up crashing. Or it can just float happily and peacefully in one place, or simply sway from side to side

Bubble Fun

Bubble Baths are the Best!

The little people were having a bubble bath the other day, and I just couldn’t resist taking the camera in the room with them. They just looked so cute all surrounded in bubbles. I don’t really know what it is but the kids LOVE it!.

I remember having a bubble bath with my sister when we were little, they are so much fun. You can use all your imagination. Play, play, play until the water is almost cold.

The Little Man always makes me a Chai Latte as that is my favourite drink, he calls it a Chai Matte which is very cute. They just have fun.

Camping Fun

Yes we made it back in one piece. I am glad that I posted the Hopeful post before we went, as it must have helped us out. It didn’t rain the whole time that we were away, we had one morning were is was spitting a little but nothing that was going to spoil our day. Also the camp beds were really comfortable and everyone slept reasonably well.

We had a wonderful time, everyone involved enjoyed themselves, as you will see from the photos that I am just about to bombard you with.

Our first day, we didn’t leave home until late so we only stopped just outside of the suburbs, still

Excited!

We are getting excited now, we are heading on a 2 week camping adventure next week. We have never taken the children camping before, but we thought that it was time to bite the bullet and just go.

Nana & Grandad are coming with us which will be fantastic, the children I think are looking forward to going but I am not really sure if they really know what it is all about until our first night in a tent.

I have very fond memories myself when I think of camping. I remember camping as a young child with my parents, sister and grandparents and we had fantastic times. I am hoping

Birthday Surprise

It is my birthday next week and my beautiful sister wanted to give me my birthday present, but I had to have it early and I had to go somewhere, but I had no idea where I was going. My sister loves to give experiences rather than just things for your birthday.

I left the children in the safe hands of the grandparents and went and stayed at my sisters house. We had to get up early and be in the car by 7.30am. I was a bit excited because days with my sister are always great it didn’t really matter where we were going.

Driving, driving, driving, we were heading in

Weekend Away!

Family Holidays

We were given a weekend away for Christmas from my wonderful parents, Sister & brother in-law. It was really nice just to get away from it all, just the four of us. We had a really nice time, unfortunately the weather wasn’t on our side, but we still enjoyed ourselves, rain or no rain.

Our first stop was at the Kiama blowhole. It is a hole in a rock in the ocean, as the waves crash against the side of the rock, it shoots up through the hole, causing a spray of water. Little Man thought it was great, Little miss didn’t really like it at all, she just buried

What Great Dancers!

I just wanted to share this video with you all, we were having so much fun.

I really love to watch our little ones having so much fun. I hope that you enjoy it, and it makes you have a bit of a laugh.

I do however want to say that I have NO idea where the little man gets his dance moves from.

An Afternoon at a Playland

Fun in the Ball Pit

I took the two little Munchkins to a Playland  today, I can’t believe how much fun they had in the ball pit.
I have heard so many horror stories about ball pits and them not being clean etc. It always makes you aware of where you are taking them. But I didn’t have an issue with this one, it looked really clean and the kids had a absolute ball. hehe :o)
I do however find that playlands are fairly expensive, but I suppose they have to survive somehow. They also put the prices up for the school holidays, which I forgot all about. oh well.

I think that they

Mogo Zoo

Mogo Zoo is a great little zoo, on the south coast of NSW, Australia, which we visited today and had a wonderful day.

The thing that I like about Mogo Zoo is it’s size, it is not huge, but it has enough animals to keep you entertained for the day. You can tell that all the animals are well loved and extremely well looked after, they all look happy and have plenty of room in their enclosures.

It is a privately owned zoo, so the owners are very dedicated to the animals and their environments. They have over 39 rare and exotic species, with one being the rare white lions.

Love Your Childrens Imagination

I just love watching my children play in the park. You can just see their imagination grow while they are playing.

Just the excitement in their faces as they play and make up things, makes it worth while taking them there.

I do however wonder what is going through their heads, when they are unable to explain it or to young to talk, like little miss, they just can’t tell you. Little miss was sitting there putting her hands in and out of the sand, just wonder what she thought of it, what did it feel like?.

I just love how their imagination works, you can just see the little minds working at

Cooking with a 3 year old - Melting Moments

Cooking with little ones can be lots of fun, but it can also be a little frustrating when you are so used to having the kitchen to yourself. I always try to let the little man help where he can though.

We are off on a picnic tomorrow in the park, it is a friends birthday, so I thought that I would just make a batch of biscuits to take along with us.

I had this thought a little late in the evening but that is not an issue, I got straight onto it while the little ones were being bathed by their Dad.

Little did I know that I would have a
