Being a Mum is like flying a kite, you never know which way it is going to turn, it can turn really fast and end up crashing. Or it can just float happily and peacefully in one place, or simply sway from side to side

At the Show

This weekend was the local show, they had horse rides, camel rides, sheep, rides and showbags, all the things that a local show has.

We took the children last year and they had a great time in the area with the farm animals that you can pat and hold.

This year was not any different, they had newly hatched chickens that they were able to hold, they are like little balls of fluff, so soft and cuddly. It was difficult to get them to put them down.

You Capture - Yellow

Yellow - this was an interesting topic for this weeks capture. I ummed and ahhhed about what I was going to do, I thought about what I was going to capture, during the week, while I was wandering around. But I could only come up with a few bits from around the house, as it has been a bit chaotic around here this week.

Firstly a yellow piece from the game connect four. Both of the children are way to young for this game, and I have tried to teach the little man how to play, but it is more fun to just put the pieces in and see what pattern

Mowing the Grass

Little Miss was playing in Pops Garage and decided that she wanted to help cut the grass.

She quickly found the toy mower, Pops ear muffs and off she went.

You can’t see in the picture but she had a lovely dress on with hearts on her tights, and her pink gum boots.

Happy Mothers Day

Just wanted to wish you all a very Happy Mothers Day!

I hope that you have had or have a really great day, and get spoilt rotten.

Enjoy every minute of it!

A Preschool Mothers Day

It was my first Mothers Day with a child a preschool. What an experience that has been. I received an invitation a couple of weeks ago, asking me to come to preschool for an hour in the morning for a mothers day pampering.

Of course I wasn’t going to miss that for the world. So my husband stayed home to look after little miss while I went off to be pampered.

The little Man had a fantastic time, and so did I of course, who wouldn’t when you are about to be pampered by your nearly 4 year old son.

Ok this is how the morning paned out, we arrived and got straight

You Capture - Autumn {again}

Yes the topic for this week was Autumn again, as Beth liked it so much the first time, she thought that we should give it another go, I am glad that she did.

As I mentioned in You Capture - Autumn last week, I really really love the autumn leaves that have fallen on the ground. The noise they make when you walk on them, and just watching the children play in them, throwing them up in the air.

Well we met a friend at the park the other day, and there was some great leaves for us to play in, I just couldn’t resist taking shots of them playing in the leaves.

Pirates

Little Man was invited to a Birthday Party of a friend at Preschool, it was a dress up party. So we decided for him to go as a Pirate, what a great Pirate he was too.

When we got back from the party, Little Miss decided that she wanted to have a turn at being a pirate also.

They both made very good pirates I thought.
