Oh my, my little girl is growing up so fast. I must say that the second child just seems to shoot up with out you even noticing. It is hard to believe that she was ever a little baby in arms, the baby stage seemed to just fly by and now we are getting first haircuts.
I initially just intended the little man to have his hair cut, he hates it when it starts to get in his eyes, so it is straight of to the hair dresser to have a trim. Well I had little miss with me and asked the lady what she thought, if she thought that it was time for her to have a cut.
Well next thing I knew she was sitting in the chair having her first hair cut. She sat very still, which was amazing, I thought that it was going to be much worse and that she wouldn’t sit still at all. The lady only cut a small amount from the ends and just did a general tidy, she said that it was better to cut the baby hair off while she was still young, then when she is about 4 she will have beautiful hair, instead of scraggly baby hair ends.
When asking Little Miss if she liked having her hair cut, she said “fun”.
I am glad that she had it cut, it does look really cute and she really did need it, Mum was just a bit reluctant to go near her lovely curls with a pair of scissors. But I have vowed in the past never to cut my childs hair after we cut the little mans, lets say his fringe was not very straight.
I had to take the pictures today while she was eating lunch, yes while she was sitting still for a few seconds.
Yes I did save a few of her curls to put in her memory book. Again a second child thing, I have done way more to the little Mans book than I have to poor Little Miss. I am a second child so I know what it is like.
