Being a Mum is like flying a kite, you never know which way it is going to turn, it can turn really fast and end up crashing. Or it can just float happily and peacefully in one place, or simply sway from side to side

Happy Australia Day

I know it is a bit late as it was Australia Day on the 26th, but it is better late than never.

I bought the little people some Australian flags and shirts, they had a great time as you can see.

Very Stylish

It has been a very very hot weekend. We have spent alot of time in the pool.

Little Miss was so cute, Pops hat, Mummy’s shoes and enjoying a nice fruit bar in her swimmers.

No Internet!

Oh no we have no internet connection in our new house for a couple of weeks. Not sure how I am going to survive, I will miss you all, and I hope that you will all miss me.

I can’t believe that it takes the phone companies that long to organise the connection.

I will try and post when I can get internet to let you know how we are going and what we are all up to.

You Capture - Winter/Summer

You Capture - Summer (for me)

This weeks you capture is Winter, but that is a little bit difficult for me as it is Summer here in Australia,  so I am doing Summer, I hope that is ok.

What a summer it has been here, it has been really hot, so we have spent a lot of time in the pool, our pool, and Nan & Pops pool. The little Mans swimming has improved dramatically, which is fantastic, I am so proud of him.

This Little Man would NOT jump in the pool October last year, we couldn’t get him to put his head in the water, now look at him.

Then to the

2009 - Picture Review

Some of My Favourite Pictures of 2009

Well I did say that I would attempt to do a year in review for 2009, well I decided that I would put together a few of my favourite pictures of 2009.  So lets start at the beginning as that is usually a good place to start.

My Birthday in February, Happy Birthday Mummy!

This one was taken in March 09 - Makes me laugh every time I look at it.

Little Miss at her WOW (Welcome to Our World) party, like a christening.

In June the Little Man held a real Diamond Python, he loved it.

Finally a New Home

A change is as good as a holiday

so they say. Finally after lots of searching and time spent looking at open houses, we found our new home.

It is going to be a very interesting move for us, but I am sure that once we work out what we are going to do with all our furniture it will all be Ok.

We are going to be moving from a 5 bedroom house to a 2 bedroom apartment, mmmmmm I can see a bit of an issue with the size difference there.

I am actually looking forward to the lifestyle change, it will be a challenge, but at the same time it will

3D Glasses

Daddy went to a 3D movie during the week, Little Man thought the glasses were great.

I took the lenses out as they made your eyes go a bit strange.

Very studious looking, hilarious if you ask me.

You Capture - Holiday Pictures

You Capture was for Holiday Pictures, but unfortunately that was last weeks, but I wasn’t around so I am doing mine this week.  This weeks You Capture was to do a year in review and I think that might be a bit tricky, you will all be bored with all the photos if I did that. I will attempt to do a year in review post next week.

I have done my holiday pictures from our Christmas day, as it was such a great day, and lots of pictures were taken. So here we go.

First we start in the kitchen, which is where most of our Christmas day was spent, in
