What a lovely Wedding Day

Well if you read a couple of weeks ago A Day and Night Pass, you will know that I was let loose to go to a Hen’s Day of a friend of mine. Well this weekend we got another pass out to attend the Wedding. Wow didn’t know myself, childless again.

I find that Weddings make me cry, when they are at the front of the church and they are saying their vows, thats it for me, the tears start to well in my eyes. The bride looked beautiful and the groom very handsome, they both looked really radiant and extremely happy.  Their vows were very special as they wrote them themselves, they didn’t follow the rules, they just let us into how they felt about each other, it was lovely.

The whole day was just lovely, we were lucky the rain stayed away long enough for us all to be inside when it decided to fall from the sky. Phew!.

The reception was great, and a great time was had by all. I think that a few people might have had a little tooo much fun if you know what I mean, a few to many drinks makes people do strange things. My husband was enjoying his time away from the children a little too much I think. oh well he had fun.

One lady asked me if he was my husband, I really wasn’t sure if I should say yes or no, but of course I said yes as he is wonderful. Her reply was “Excellent, he is great value” . Well done sweetheart, I am glad that I married you. (he was just having fun dancing)

I was also lucky enough to share the day with my Sister and My Mum, which was special.

I hope that my children grow up to love me like my sister and I love my Mum. I will be one happy Mum.
