Being a Mum is like flying a kite, you never know which way it is going to turn, it can turn really fast and end up crashing. Or it can just float happily and peacefully in one place, or simply sway from side to side

Recipe: Meatballs with Risoni
I didn’t really know what Risoni was before I found this recipe, but now I know that it is a kind of pasta, and a pretty tasty one at that. I have made this a few times now and the children love it, we love it too luckily.
It is a good recipe for the children to help you prepare, they love to make the meatballs, getting in and getting their little hands all covered in mixture. The Little Mans meatballs end up all mixed back up together and he tends to flatten then out, rather than roll them into balls, but he has fun which is the

We have had a very busy weekend this weekend
We have had a birthday party each day, a 1st birthday on Saturday and a 40th Birthday on Sunday.
But we managed to fit in lots of fun.
Fun by the pool, wearing the Little Mans Sunnies, and Hiding under the table, ready with a big cheesy grin.
I hope that you had a fun filled weekend too!
Choosing or Finding the Right Preschool is not an easy task.
The Little Man will start Preschool next year, he has been accepted into the preschool that I chose, but this was not with out searching and trying to find a good one in the area, not to far from home.
This is a big step in all of our lives, so it isn’t an easy thing to decide on, I still don’t really know if I am going to cope. But I will cross that bridge when I come to it.
Some tips that I found helpful
Here are a few tips that I found helpful when looking for a preschool, and trying

Today was just one of those days…
Have you ever had one of those days, when you just want it to finish, go to bed, wake up and start a new day all fresh. Hoping that everyone else in the house does the same thing so that you wake up all happy and yesterday never happened.
Well today was one of those days. I just wanted the ground to open up and swallow me. The little Man was just having a day, where everything was wrong, he didn’t want to do that, or this, or anything that you suggested at all. He felt the need to punish his sister by pushing her

Easy to Make Flip Flops - Craft Project
I saw these being made the other day, I can’t for the life of me remember where, but I do get a lot of my ideas from Play School, so it wouldn’t surprise me if that is where I got the idea from.
Well, the little man wanted to make a pair this afternoon, so we did of course, even if it was in the middle of cooking dinner.
Here is what you need:
2 or 4 Pipe Cleaners (depends how big the foot that you are making it for is.)
Cardboard
Pen and Crayon
Here is what you need to do to put it all together.

Bertie and the Bear - Written by Pamela Allen
Need to have your musical and sound voice ready when you are reading this one. Can be quite a noisy book, but lots of fun, getting the little ones to make the sounds with you.

What a great way to end a wonderful week, than with Fathers Day.
I would just like to wish every one a Happy Fathers Day, and I hope that you were lucky enough to spend some quality time with your Dad.
We were very fortunate to have all our Dads spend the day with us today.
I have the best Dad any one could ever wish for, but I am sure that you will all say that. I am also lucky enough to have the most wonderful Dad for my children. Little Miss and the Little Man will agree with me, I am

We have had such a wonderful week, with Daddy being at home on holidays, and spending time with the Grandparents.
We had a great time at the beach, Spring was definitely in the air and the weather is finally warming up.
Daddy dug a big hole in the sand and we managed to fit both the little munchkins in it. They had so much fun, with so much laughter.
A really easy to make Bird
What you will need:

Mogo Zoo is a great little zoo, on the south coast of NSW, Australia, which we visited today and had a wonderful day.
The thing that I like about Mogo Zoo is it’s size, it is not huge, but it has enough animals to keep you entertained for the day. You can tell that all the animals are well loved and extremely well looked after, they all look happy and have plenty of room in their enclosures.
It is a privately owned zoo, so the owners are very dedicated to the animals and their environments. They have over 39 rare and exotic species, with one being the rare white lions.
