Mogo Zoo is a great little zoo, on the south coast of NSW, Australia, which we visited today and had a wonderful day.

The thing that I like about Mogo Zoo is it’s size, it is not huge, but it has enough animals to keep you entertained for the day. You can tell that all the animals are well loved and extremely well looked after, they all look happy and have plenty of room in their enclosures.

It is a privately owned zoo, so the owners are very dedicated to the animals and their environments. They have over 39 rare and exotic species, with one being the rare white lions.

We were there in time for a talk and the feeding of the white lions, they are an amazing animal, the fact that there is only a small space, and some fencing between you and the lions is great, you definitely get a great look at them up close.

The little Man and Little Miss had a great time feeding the deer and the Kangaroos.  Little Miss thought that it was hilarious, and it must have tickled her hand. You should have heard her when the bag of food was empty, she screamed as she wanted to give them more.

So if you are ever in on the south coast of NSW and in the Mogo area, it is a definite must visit.  Enjoy, we did!
